Being a part of FTV has changed the way I approach my students. I take the time to get to know each of them personally, to make connections with their families and home communities. I value their culture and invest in my own education by learning the history of my students’ ancestry. FTV has allowed me to grow in so many good ways. It has made me a better teacher and a better human being. I am honored to be a part of an initiative that really does change education for the better.
